LoEstrin is like a godsend to me. Since taking it, my periods have been significantly lighter and last only 3-4 days instead of the very heavy long (8-9 days) flow I used to have. Also, this medication has significantly minimized my cramps from very severe (used to have to stay home in bed) to barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this medication to anyone who is suffering from extreme periods.

That's exactly how I have been feeling! I feel depressed, irritable, and very hungry! I feel like I want to vomit all the time! Last night, I woke from my sleep vomiting! To stop the queezniness I eat salty crackers. If the increase in appetite does not cause weight gain, eating fatty foods to calm your stomach certainly will. Claritin is perfect for the Spring season when plants and flowers are in bloom. I had such a difficult time just breathing until I started using Claritin. It worked perfectly for me.

Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

I used Zicam a lot whenever I started to feel sick, and I think it worked (it can be hard to tell because the cold was only developing, but it never got any worse). Unfortunately, I used the Zicam Q-tips as well and lost some of my sense of smell. Now I do not enjoy food as much because I cannot taste it.
