When first diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, the extreme tiredness meant more hours spent in bed than out. tasks were set on a daily basis in order to get general household chore complete, washing dishes ect. On waking I could be awake for around 3 hours, then will need to go back to bed. With using carbimazole, I am able to stay awake for the whole day and complete multiple general house hold chores.

I was given oxybuprocaine to numb my eyes at an opthamology eye exam, after receiving the drops I started to have convulsions. My head was completely bent back, my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I was grinding my teeth. The convulsions lasted for hours on the day of the eye exam and returned sporadically the next day. I take carbimazole and had very swollen eyes.A very good specialist opperated on them and took away all the fatty tisue.The difference it made to my self confidence is imeasurable.I could not thank this man enough.That was twelve months ago.
