The medication is okay, it mildly decreases my blood sugar. But when my blood sugar is high, I take the tablets, and a lot of water, which increase urination.

I was originally prescribed pills that only contained 0.030 mg of synthetic estrogen for extremely painful cramps (and also hoped that they would help control some of my bad acne). I experienced some breast tenderness, and the acne hardly cleared as we had hoped. I was soon switched to MonoNessa, which has 0.035 mg of the estrogen in it, and I think it has worked wonderfully. When I get a headache or pain from my period, I take Ibuprofen and it takes away the pain temporarily. I recommend it because when it works great!

difficult to ascribe side effects to specific drug from other drugs taken e.g. simvastatin,lansoprazole, aspirin 75 mg.or for that matter from advancing age (75 yrs.)

It works, but not great. I have to take twice the recommended dosage (which I probably shouldn't) just to get some effect. I do still take it most mornings, though, because I have year-round allergies and sinus problems and usually wake up with a lot of congestion. On the plus side, a couple of tablets in the morning will usually decongest me enough to get me through the day. It does occasionally make me thirsty and tired.

I was given the Z pack for an upper respiratory infection. I took two tablets the first day and immediately started feeling better. This is now my third day on the Z pack and I am back to my normal self. This is a great antibiotic.
