I've taken Solodyn for approx. 45 days. I now have permanent blue/gray tooth discoloration that I am incredibly upset about. My teeth used to be beautiful and now they look like the color of a fish. It was pretty subtle so I didn't notice it right away and when I did I thought maybe it was staining from red wine. I was really against taking this drug to begin with. I've tried to keep a positive HOPE that this would help me. I have worse symptoms and can't differentiate what is symptomatic of the disease or the drug. The endocrine system is so complex and effects many other body systems. I DO NOT recommend tri-sprinted. I changed from Loestrin 1/20 to tri-sprintec this summer (July09) and have had recurrent yeast infections ever since then. I have also gained tons of weight since starting to take this pill. I am changing pills today.

I picked it because it was a low dose option and I get migraines with higher dosage pills. Also, I liked the idea of not having periods. I did not get migraines but I got short, irregular periods any time. It was worse than getting one predictable period.

THE BEST PILL EVER, IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE COMPLETELY FOR THE BETTER. I AM FREE TO BE NORMAL. WITH OUT MOOD SWINGS, HARSH CRAMPING, IRRITABLE, CONSTANT WEIGHT GAIN FROM BLOATING AND MONTHLY FOOD AND ALCOHOL CRAVINGS. ALL GONE HAVE LOST 15 POUNDS. IN THE BEST HEALTH IF MY LIFE.
