Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. I take Zyrtec daily for indoor and outdoor allergies and it relieves all of my symptoms. I started taking it when Clarinex stopped being covered by my insurance, although I do not think Zyrtec is quite as effective as Clarinex it is cheaper and it does not cause any negative side effects.

I was told that Kenacort 80 will cause infertility in the long run... I really love the effect of the drug on my complexion and will love to continue using it. But if it's true that I run the risk of being infertile, i'll love to know now and be adviced on what to do to prevent this...
