Wonderful for depression, but NO HELP for OCD. Dizziness only lasts first two days and goes away. Do not drive during this time. Do not drink on it, depression may get worse. Excercise combined really helped to recover from the depression I was in.

At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. I think that lexapro is great for anxiety, they only two downfalls is it takes a while to build up in your system and begin to work and it costs a lot of money even if your insurance covers a portion of it.

Since taking Esipram my emotions have levelled out and the rollercoaster ride has levelled too. I still get bouts of a downer but nothing to the extent of before. I know when I am starting to sink because I get extremely tired during the day but it only lasts a couple of days now, so I know what to expect. I can also watch sad or emotional movies without getting teary but still have a level of feelings, so haven't become a cold, hard person.
