No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. This is the only medication that helped me get rid of my flu, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Concerning the side effects, I think it depends on the individual. For me, it didn't cause me that much trouble.

I switched from Arimidex to Aromasin because of extreme joint pain. During the first three years on Aromasin, I suffered from hot flashes and insomnia. The last two years the hot flashes are only occasional and the insomnia is a little better. I get tired easily, but considering the benefits against breast cancer, I can put up with it. First 18 months of treatments: smooth sailing. Then the infusion reactions started. They are starting earlier in the infusion and lasting longer after the infusion. It's scary, but we are trying to keep on top of it with anti inflammatory meds.
