I was originally prescribed pills that only contained 0.030 mg of synthetic estrogen for extremely painful cramps (and also hoped that they would help control some of my bad acne). I experienced some breast tenderness, and the acne hardly cleared as we had hoped. I was soon switched to MonoNessa, which has 0.035 mg of the estrogen in it, and I think it has worked wonderfully. I switched from Depo Provera (the shot) to Seasonique. I started my pills on a Tuesday. By Saturday I started feeling lightheaded, Sunday I was feeling dizzy, lightheaded, and started having problems with my vision. Monday was horrible I don't know if I was nauseous from the bc or because of my double vision and dizziness. after being on accutane and many many other medications for acne, ampicillin has kept my acne under control for the most part. a negative that i have noticed that i believe to be related to it is that i occassionally have diarrhea.
