I researched this medication throughly before starting it, and i recommended it to my endocrinologist. this medication has both T4 (commonly found in synthetics) and T3 (also in synthetic form but not often perscribed) as well as T1 and T2 which are not manufactured yet as we do not know what their role is and it is believed then that they must not be significant. I would rather take one medication that provides all of the same hormones my body should be producing but isnt.

it is addictive. will take it even when not necessary . If necessary i would take a dose more than the prescribed dose

This is a horrible drug that caused all kinds of side effects and made me miserable for the last 2 years. Started taking it due to gastritis from NSAIDS. Tried Pepcid first but got acid breakthrough after 1 month. Tried 10 mg capsules of Omeprazole, but they had a nasty aftertaste. Bumped up to 20 mg, then 40 mg. Constant bloating and abdominal pains. I take medications for headache indiscriminately. No favorative. I take headache medication maybe 3 times a year. They are all the same to me. Now I use Ibuprofin.
