I normally chew on mint leaves, or have mint tea to soothe my stomach when I've had a heavy meal. It results in the release of gas or emptying of the bowels. I normally feel extremely drowsy after and have a mild headache. I feel extremely sleepy and lethargic the entire day, but the relief for the stomach is worth it.

Hi. Just want to share my experience. I took Candex as indicated for about 2 weeks. I experienced pretty severe diarrhea the entire time. I work at home. I would not have been able to do this if I was not able to be flexible with my time. It got to a point where I had to stop anyway because of the frequency and severity. Allegra made my heart race, so I asked my doctor to be switched to something with fewer side effects. I then I took Xyzal for about 7 months, while it did reduce my allergies the side effects were devastating. I gained weight. I was tired all the time. My heart rate went up. My joint's ached. My doctor started checking me for thyroid conditions, I had an EKG that showed nothing. I now suspect it was the Xyzal. The first two weeks were horrible. I couldnt sleep and extreme nausia. after the two weeks it gets 90% better. Personally I did not want to get on this in the first place because it is for weak people that cant deal with life, but it made me feel better. I no longer take it though in fear of addiction. If i cant handle life now when can I?
