With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. One time I had a migraine all day long and it was really debilitating. When nighttime came around, I couldn't sleep, so I took some Excedrin PM and the pain went away, and just like that I fell asleep. I didn't even wake up during the night and woke up feeling refreshed.

Been taking Lyrica for GAD and tremors in my hands. It's the only medication that works for me. My anxiety is gone, and the tremors in my hands are gone with Lyrica. An unexpected side effect is I was able to quit smoking within four days of taking it. And I was a pack and a half a day smoker. It also relieves my severe back pain due to arthritis way better than anti-inflamatories do.

It feel much better when I take the Cymbalta. I would tell anyone to take it if they needed to. The only problem I have had with Cymbalta is that I have unusual vivid dreams. I think a combination of my anxiety and the Cymbalta had made me gain some weight.
