Tylenol is a good go-to pain and headache reducer. It's always in my medicine cabinet as a backup for when I don't feel my best. For the most part, it works well. Sometimes though, I just feel a little weak and need to lie down for a bit.

Although the drug did it's job is lessening the pain, I am always very reluctant to take it because of how drowsy it makes me. Although I can tolerate it better, I still feel like I am movie extremely slowly compared to everyone/everything else when I take the medication.

The main thing I did not like about Lyrica is that it really affected my memory which is horrible in the working world. It also left me tired, sort of hungover most of the time. I feel the side effects far outweight the benefits of Lyrica for me. I recently stopped taking it and I can focus so much better now.

To those who had bad stomach reactions to Candex, did you make sure and drink it with a FULL 8 oz. (even more if you can) glass of water? Very important as Candex is all enzymes and they will upset your stomach if not diluted! I started taking Candex just last night for the first time (had to go on antibiotics this past week for strep and was experiencing some major itching, though I've been borderline systemic for some time now). I'm taking the highest dosage for the solus pen once a day and have not noticed any change in blood sugar. Had to get off metformin because of digestion problems which are somewhat better now, but still persistent at times. I'm going to see if doctor will change everything next office visit.
