This drug also works as an 'antispasmodic' (slows digestion) making it a godsend for those of us who have had Ulcerative Colitis, Chrones Disease, IBS, Colon Cancer, etc. -related surgeries. Would prefer natural medication but Dr. said Olmetec Plus is good. Ankles painful at tendons on heel and above. Urine is clear white. Kidney function down. He is watching that now. Taken this for 1 year so far and blood pressure came down right away and is good. I am watchful about side effects that Drs. don't tell or know about. This kidney stuff bothers me. I have used Topamax for almost four years and I am very satisfied with the way that it helped my headaches (both daily and migraines). However, it has caused severe memory and concentration problems. I don't feel as if I can join in intellectual discussions anymore (I went to Harvard) and I am very forgetful. I'm now switching to Lamictal in the hopes that I'll get my brain back. This is a great drug if you don't lose your mind. I would for sure give it a try.

I have noticed that my lungs hurt when I make any sudden physical movements like getting off the couch and walking in the other room. My lungs hurt just like I was outside sucking down cold air but I am inside where it is warm. The hurting lasts for a few minutes and scares the crap out of me. When I quit the Celebrex the hurting goes away.
