I suffered head trauma with multiple lacerations to my face and lips, along with severe swelling and bruising. I was prescribed vicodin to relieve my pain. When I took the vicodin I felt less socially inhibited and talked much more frequently than normal.

This is my second round of Isotretinoin. The first time the results lasted for about 3 1/2 years before I started having bouts of cystic acne again (definitely related to stress). The first time I was on it I had a lot of joint and muscle pain but I have not experienced that this time around. This time in addition to the normal dry skin, lips, and increased thirst, I have dry eyes and a dry nose that bleeds frequently if I do not use the nasal gel to moisten it. Moderately effective pain relief, but wasn't strong enough for my specific case. I was in recovery from an internal-external hemorrhoidectomy, which is extremely painful. My surgeon recommended Oxycontin or Percocet, but my physician, knowing my history, advised against prescribing a more addictive drug, knowing my potential for dependency.

This benzo is a joke! Doc's are just being cautious by trying these alternatives, thus, not having to prescribe Xanax, Valium, etc. Stand up and tell your doc the truth if isn't working the way you would think

I got a cold yesterday and wanted to go to sleep but couldn't because my stuffy nose was keeping me up. My mom gave me NyQuil and I fell asleep almost instantly. I recommend it for nights of insomnia.
