I'm 31 and have had nephrotic syndrome with flares every 6 months since I was 2. Bone density test shows my bones are stronger than most healthy people, but I drink a lot of milk. When I'm on Prednisone I cut salt out of my diet as much as possible (there's a lot of salt in milk) knowing that the more I eat, the more I will swell. My periods/cramps have been better since taking Yaz. Although, I have experienced some mild depression than when I wasn't on it and a few mood changes. I have had one irregular period and I have never missed a pill since taking Yaz. I am going to my gynocologist in the next couple months for a check up with Yaz. My Doctor prescribed this for me because he thought I was getting endometriosis.

The only thing I have to complain about is the headache/migraine side effects that I experienced when I first began taking it. I'm only nervous about potential long-term side effects that I've read about.
