I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.

Taken 20mg for post traumatic head injury. At first great-headache gone but got very groggy in the morning, had real sugar cravings, heart rhythm problems and just not feeling quite on the earth. So have cut to 10mg for 3 days and stopped altogether today. Yeah I know you are not meant to stop but I think this drug is not that good for me,now the headaches are much better. Here's hoping anyway!!

Withdrawal systems are severe and therefore I continue to take 8 tablets a day every day, even when I don't need them. I find if I go out for the day and I forget to take Solpodol with me, I am in a panic and usually have to get home! The Doctor has never questioned the amount I get each month.

After being diagnosed with epilepsy in March 2011 and having extemely painful terrifying focal and generalised grand mal seizures, I didn't want to take potent antiepileptic meds with very serious side effects. I was extremely fearful of further seizures and went online and researched anticonvulsive medication. Also have a very stressful life - abusive mother, autistic son and very acrimonious divorce. I had a bad reaction to this medication. I was feeling very drowsy , more anxious and agitated than ever.I took them for 9 days only as i could not continue having finished the last day with severe diarrhoe.
