I started taking Tri Sprintec in 2007, because I went to college and our health center only had generics (I had previously been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about 3 months prior). I took Tri Sprintec for about 3 years, and was fine, aside from the abysmally low libido. Last month, however, during my last week of active pills in my pack, I almost completely lost my appetite; the very smell of food would make my stomach turn. I also starting having severe anxiety and depression, I was paranoid, and... View full comment

I tried Seasonique once I started being sexuially active again. The first month I developed a yeast infection, which is normal for me when I begin a new BC,then after 4 weeks I began spotting and breakthrough bleeding and this lasted for 2mths, finally I spoke to my OBGYN(who is a wonderful and amazing doctor) and he suggested that I stop that pack and start a new one(which he provided). Once again once I strated this pack I got another yeast infection(No bleeding). I stayed on it for 3 more... View full comment

Around the time I started taking Daytrana, I noticed that I was sweating more often. I took Daytrana for about 2 years. I went to my doctors and none of them could figure out why I was all of a sudden sweating so much. When my psychiatrist decided to take me off of the Daytrana, I stopped sweating. We soon realized that the Daytrana is what was making me sweat uncontrollably. Another problem I had with Daytrana was that I must have been allergic to the patch. Once I stopped applying Daytr... I developed Menier's in my early sixties. It took a while to control so that my specialist put me on increasing amounts of Betahistine. At six to eight a day it was mostly controlled although I had break- out episodes that put me in hospital overnight. I was also prescribed medication to control fluid , in my head, I guess. These included indapamide and potassium. Buccanase or semitol was there for when I did have an episode. Now 6 years on, I can control the condition as long as I stick... View full comment
