This drug is a poison. It causes the conditions it's supposed to prevent. I never had a problem with flushing or redness before taking this. I had one broken blood vessel and that was it. Since taking it my face turned into a burning mess, and my lips are still messed up (I have to put vaseline on them about 5 times a day every day), and I don't sweat out of my face as much. I like using Midol for menstrual cramps and I've used it for several years. It usually works but it wasn't enough to relieve my cramps the few times that I've had severe pain.

I was in really bad pain, upper arms, wrists, knees, lower back & upper back (basically wherever I had hurt myself in the past). The doctor lowered my dosage, those pains went away, but now my mouth hurts, teeth, gums, etc. and my heart just started having weird rhythm and palpatations. My mouth hurts so bad, like the worst toothache you could ever have.

I am luckily a very fast responder to Prozac. When we need to adjust the dosage, I notice a difference within a day or 2. Take it in the morning or it might keep you up at night!
