I think I'm allergic to codeine. It makes me nauseous. I guess it works for pain, but the side effects outweigh the benefits

from the time I started taking it I have developed a pain under the right side of my rib it feels like my liver or kidney I had all kind of check ups no can't find what is the problem .

I suffered from general anxiety disorder, mild OCD, and occasional depression and went on Lexapro when I was 18. After about 2 weeks I started noticing improvement and after about 6 weeks I noticed the full effects. My anxiety caused me to have a lot of problems going to sleep and after starting lexapro those issues went away and I was able to sleep much better. I usually take Midol when I have my period to relieve my cramps. The pain is pretty intense around the first day and Midol instantly takes it away.

I have been pleased with the results - Dr. prescribed Valtrex to "shorten" any outbreaks, but so far, have not had any outbreaks. I had been taking 1 gm pill for about two months, then lessened the dosage to .5 gm.

Three separate times, I have overdosed on fluoxetine because I was feeling depressed or anxious. The first time I took a 150% dose, and it just made me feel extremely anxious and weird; I cried a lot. A year later, I took 200% dose, and I barely noticed a difference. The next day I took 300% dose, and I was afraid of what it would do to me, so I threw it up. Don't overdose on this stuff.
