I took codeine very briefly for pain when I was ill with mononucleosis. It gave me severe heartburn, especially while sleeping, so I had to stop taking the drug.

I am so sorry for you side effects, but I must say I was happy to read your post!! I have Graves disease and had radio active therapy 10 years ago and have been on levoxyl for many years with no problems until now. I recently have been experiencing trembling of my arms, torso, and legs, pretty frequently but I only usually notice it at night. While taking the Wellbutrin has helped me cope better in some situations, I still regularly have days where I just can't hold it together and feel like crying all day. While it's not as often as it was, I still have them. I was on 150 mg once a day and was moved to 300 mg once a day and I haven't been able to tell much difference. I do like it though because I haven't gained weight like I have on other medications.

I have a inherited increase in Lpa, and LDL levels that can cause stenosis. This is the only drug that effectively decreased my levels of Lpa and cholesterol. Used with a small 5 mg dose of lipitor, Cholesterol is 120, HDL is 73, LDL is 35 and Lpa is 37.
