I am very unhappy with this pill. I have had irregular bleeding accompanied by moderate to severe cramping, depression and feelings of detachment, my breasts have hurt nonstop for 2 months, and for the first time in my life I have acne.

I take Klor-Con in combination with other medications to control hypertension. I really do not know which, if any, of my medications are responsible for the aches/pains/bone joint weakness. However, they together control my high blood pressure, so I endure the slight discomfort. Other medications that I've taken for years, include Isosorbide, Furosemide,Amlodipine Besylate and Metoprolol. I am breastfeeding my son, so these pills were a good option for birth control. When I was on estrogen containing pills, I developed painful cystic acne which left scars, and since Jolivette, I haven't had one pimple. The only things I do not like about Jolivette are a decrease in my breast milk supply, a constant absence of periods, oily hair, and horrible migraines that cannot be helped by otc pain relievers that can last for hours.
