I never get headaches but when I take Centrum for Men I get a headache and tightness in my chest, Headache and Chest pain stop as soon as I stop taking it. This drug was a last ditch effort for me. It was trying this or having ECT which I am strongly against. I am happy that pristiq has given me much needed relief not only from depression but from anxiety as well. The only really awful side effect I had at first was nausea. It was very strong for about 3 weeks and then faded as time has gone on. I would recommend anyone whose tried other medications that haven't worked well for them to try this one.

I recieved a cortiosone injection in my shoulder yesterday and almost 5 minutes after having it done I had nausea and the worst headache I have ever had. I also was very weak. I tried to work but had to come home and once I did a slept from 2pm - 8pm when I woke up with a 102.1 fever. I took 1000 mg of tylenol and it still didnt break my fever. For me Lexapro was of great help. It reduced my major depression and obsessions significantly. Lexapro is much better than Paroxetine, Duloxetine in terms of sideffects (both of which have so much sideffects atleast for me). Paxil and duloxetine have many bad reports from users. Best to start with Lexapro, Sertraline Or Fluxetine. These have been shown to be most safer for all in general

I was on 125 mg and reduced down to 100 mg over about 4 weeks (yes very slowly) and my jerky limbs side effects have gotten worse. I also find my sleeping patterns are all over the place. But I feel so much better than before that I don't want to stop taking them.

Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight.
