I have tried a few different birth controls in the past year and nothing seemed to work for me. the first 2 months on FemconFE were fine. In the third month and continuing on i get horrific cramps on the 2nd saturday of each pack. (i have been on this pill now for 8 months) I cannot move because I am in so much pain. Not sure, but I think it causes some paranoia sometimes, though I do not have any visual or auditory hallucinations, and have never been diagnosed with any mental issues. I find as the length of time increases for me being on Vicodin, I find myself sometimes suffering from frequent paranoia, even though I have not increase the dosage my doctor prescribed. Stop taking it- I had severe depression for a year and I'm on Necon now and I've done a complete turnaround in feeling better and have lost weight even. I have PCOS. I should have gotten off a lot sooner but with two kids I was too busy to call dr. and take care of me. I do regret being on it for so long but two dr. told me pills don't cause depression. They are wrong.
