When I switched to Microgestin I started getting extreme dry mouth, especially at night time when laying down. I will wake up in the middle of the night and my mouth/gums will be completely dry to the point where I can't make my own saliva. Also, I've gained a lot of weight since taking it. Although i was perscribed Solpadol as a pain relief and still require it for that purpose, as an ex smoker of Marijuana i obtain the same relaxed effect with Solpadol and believe i have replaced one with the other. When my Dr will not perscribe solpadol i replace it with normal Co Codamol and Ibuprofen until i can obtain my next perscription. If I didn't get the awful indigestion and heart burn, so bad that it hurts just to breath or even move or talk, it would be O.K. After taking it with the water I have tried dairy (cheese or a little milk) still got heart burn bad. I have to take antacid to take the heart burn away,

I mainly used it when i started on an excercise programme. I found my muscles would ache and my ankles would swell. Its been pretty good, very effective I think.
