I started to take this for a condition called folliculitis, after a couple of days I had chronic heartburn, I stopped taking after 5 days of a 7 day course, because I was getting cramps, I took the last tablet yesterday morning and I am now doubled up with nausea and cramp, anyone got any remedies? :(

I have been taking Carbimazole medicationf or 5 months now. I find it very expensive and beginning to think the Radioactive iodine therapy is my next step. Is it not easier to treat the hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism?? I have been battling extreme itchy feet and hands - mostly later in the day.

The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good... I was devastated that when I realized that Morphine was completely ineffective on my pain because at the time I was taking morphine, I was allowing my mother who was dying of cancer to be put on it. Now I am unsure of whether this was even helping her, and it is upsetting to even think this morphine was doing nothing.
