Lyrica has given me my life back. My fibromyalgia pain had gotten so bad my flare ups were back to back. I had read horrible things about the side effects of Lyrica and was afraid to try it, until I finally felt as if I had nothing to lose. The pain was gone almost immediately. I take one 50mg pill in the morning and 2 50mg at night so I am not on the highest dose. I have suffered from asthma my whole life and depended on inhalers when I had an attack. Sometimes the attacks were so bad I was put in the hospital. Since I started taking accolate I have not had any serious attacks or been hospitalized for asthma. It has worked great for me and I only use an inhaler when needed for minor asthma attacks.

Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors.
