My grandfather has taken Niaspan for a little over 2 years, he started within the last month with more moderate waking up at night a flushing. I tried to stay the course for about 3 weeks but loss of energy, nausea and occasional vomiting had me asking my doctor to get me off of Atenolol. I work out at the gym several times a week and noticed, (I wear a heart monitor to gauge my fat-burning and cadio zones), that I could not get above about 85 on my pulse rate when 115-120 was the target easily achieved before Atenolol. Result: I perpetually felt sluggish, morose and knew this drug was NOT for me.

ALSO SOMETIMES IF I HAVE A HEADACHE I WILL TAKE EITHER ADVILS OR A GOODY POWDER,I'M NOT SURE,IF THE LIPITOR WOULD CAUSE SMALL BLOOD VESSELS TO BREAK OUT ON MY ARMS OR IF ITS THE COMBINATION FROM THE ADVILS OR GOODY POWDER,I'VE TAKEN ADVILS AND GOODY POWDERS WHEN NEEDED FOR YEARS BEFORE EVER TAKING LIPITOR.WOULD ANYONE KNOW??
