Coartem is not like nivaquine ( another medication that I used to take for malaria) which used to itch me seriously. The main disturbing side effects are that it makes me tired and dizzy. A part from that, it is a good medication.

It was horrible. I would not recommend anyone take this medication as treatment for endometriosis. Nearly killed me.

I was prescribed Promethazine after I got my wisdom teeth pulled and was given Percocet and vomited. I also felt naseous after taking pain medicaiton (especially since I was unable to eat much with the medication due to having oral surgery). The Promethazine was amazing because it stopped the nausea and vomiting. It also made me very tired but I didn't mind because it was nice being asleep while I was in pain. I'm sure the combine drowsiness effects of promethazine and percocet made me that m... View full comment

I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment

My experience with Rebif has been a short, but pleasant one. I have had none of the usual symptoms that those who take Rebif may have. The only thing that I don't like about Rebif is the fact that they are in injection form.

This medicine has worked very well. Just do not take it late at night or you will be up all night peeing.

I have been taking quasense for over a year and love it!!!! I skip the placebo pills every 3 months and go straight to the reg pills so I do spot a little every few months, but its better than bleeding for days and having all the other symptoms that go along with a crappy period.... My only complaint is that even the generic is expensive! Walmart has sprintec (generic ortho-tricyclen) for $9 and I pay over $100 for quasense every 3 months. Otherwise no negative side effects that I am aware of... View full comment
