Hello, I am so so sorry to hear your affected so badly by this drug. Have you asked to be put on another similar drug which may not give you so many side affects. I take a vick sinus spray which helps my cough a little. Take care x Kath

Since I have been taking Celexa for 13 years, I have noticed that when I do not take it, it creates a whole new being that is NOT nice to deal with in me!!! I mean I notice almost immediately that I have gruffer reactions, am short with people and have no patience and no tolerance. I get very angry, which is not something I normally have issues with. Sldo, og recent, I have noticed that I have become crowd phobic when I do not take my Celexa. I have urges to get away from crowds.

At first I noticed some hair loss, thought it may be stress. After what was causing stress went away I was still losing handfuls of hair. I was trying hair loss shampoo, went to the Dr's who said maybe diabetes; got tested for that, nope. I started getting super depressed, not that hair is everything, but it for sure is a confidence killer to be balding. No history of balding in the family either for men or women. This was a very, very bad experience. I was completely unable to sleep longer than 1 hour at a time. Over the 5 months I was taking this, that sleep loss added up. I was tired all the time, could not eat due to severe nausea, and saw things that were not there (this was confirmed by my husband). I was nervous all the time, and in fact, the only thing that calmed me down was coffee. I could not feel anything and my emotions were totally inappropriate. Retin-a micro definitely helped in treating my stubborn acne. When my dermatologist said it would make me break out at first, I freaked out. However, that never happened. With doxycycline and benzamycin, my skin looked much better in just a few weeks. No negative side effects.
