Benzamycin was great in fighting my acne and clearing up my complexion. However, after a couple of weeks my skin began to get very dry and irritated in certain areas. I even use a moisturizer but the chemicals are too hard on my skin. I may just have sensitive skin. Regardless, it is a good medication for chronic acne.

I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. Used to keep away infections during my cancer treatments, but caused a lot of nausea. Constantly throwing up and feeling sick led more than with the other antibiotics led me to request a different antibiotic after the first dose was up.

At this time, I think it is the worst drug I've ever used. I've just had my blood drawn and was found to be overmedicated, which has very serious side effects. I do not feel that my doctor was very concerned and he did not even see me for this. I was seen by the lab and his nurse only for lab tests and vitals. I left the office. Results for my thyroid panel were called to me the same afternoon. I was told to not take any more Levoxyl until Monday (this is Friday) and then take a half tablet.... View full comment

I was told that Kenacort 80 will cause infertility in the long run... I really love the effect of the drug on my complexion and will love to continue using it. But if it's true that I run the risk of being infertile, i'll love to know now and be adviced on what to do to prevent this...
