I often have to switch my birth control because it doesn't always relieve my pain. Microgestin has been effective until recently. Just last month was a very heavy and painful period. I also had irregular bleeding 2 weeks before my usual period. I'm unsure if this is normal or a problem with Microgestin, but it will be discussed with my doctor. Either way, it was an uncomfortable month and quite inconvenient.

I have suffered from migraine's and daily headaches for the last 30 years and am currently seeing a specialist who has come to the end of their recommendations. Last year I visited the US and whilst out witout my usual headache medication bought the Excedrin Extra Strength Express Gels. Dayquil is great but it makes me feel a little air headed. I defeniately felt it when I was driving. It didn't effect my driving but I could still feel a difference.
