I have unexplained muscle/joint pain. The pain starts late in the day and becomes debilitating. High doses of motrin helps. Sometimes I have residual pain in the joint the next day. The pain has affected areas from my jaw to my feet. Any suggestions?

I couldn't have asked for a better med. I had tried a couple of other meds whose side effects were too bothersome and by far Lamicatal has been the best. I don't feel sedated, I've experienced almost no side effects, and I feel in control and level headed. I was very sleepy when I first started taking it but that didn't last long.

I like the fact that you only have a period every 3 months & i have not had any irregular bleeding, although i have severe headaches, my appetite is worse ( im never hungry ), and i have severe pains around my ovaries. Sex drive has increased but my mood swings kinda ruin that one. Im not very satisfied with this product and im highly considering switching to something else.

I have had a few side effects from this medicine. I felt like my mouth my drying and I wasn't digesting things very well. Additionally, I was always very drowsy.

I take it for uti pain, but I have to weigh my options because I will have neaseau and severe stomach pain that fades to my lower back for about 5 minutes about 25 minutes after taking the medication. If my uti is causing extreme pain then i take it for relief but I suffer from these side effects shortly after. The pain ceases and the medication seems to go through my system quickly after that and my urine turns orange and i get relief at that time about 80% of the time. Sometimes for some s... Have been on Lipitor for 3 months now. Just got blood test results (fasting). Went from 250 down to 173!!!! Only thing I wasn't happy with was my sugar (glucose) went from previous 100 to 128 ( a little elevated)..I AM NOT going on sugar pills!!!! Maybe just coincidence!!
