I find that my appetite is HUGE if I am off by just an hour of taking my meds. My weight has increase 20 pounds on this med. I get horrible night sweats and insomnia. I"m lucky to be able to sleep more than 4 hours at a stretch. I haven't changed meds because I've moved and haven't found a new doc.

It's helps prevent the sneezing, and runny nose I get from allergies but at times it can cause dry mouth and sore throats and on a couple of rare occasions I believe it's given me headaches.

I am getting off the drug-have serious side-effects with the prozac and wellbutrin xl--anxiety so bad I have to now take ativan for it to get through-odd thing is I have a good normal day and the next is filled with anxiety. so hard to understand what is going on with that-taking every other day-but if I take it 2 days in a row still get the every other day side-effects. Anyone else have that problem??? Thank You-Sandy

I suffer from a cold or allergies at least twice a year that results in lots of congestion, etc., you know the story. This is the first time I've tried Mucinex DM, or any Mucinex product, and so I am a little Leary after reading these reviews. I would agree with an earlier post that if you tend to run on the dydrated side you have to really, really start drinking water. Watch how much goes in and how little comes out. It definitely takes away the bacterial infection, but it takes way too long. I recently switched to Zithromax and it takes just five days or less to start feeling better

I just started this med, but my mood and thinking are noticeably improved. I've noticed a tendency to be overconfident (typically quite rare for me) and then regret actions taken. I have no idea what the impact on my weight will be, though I'm concerned as my taste in foods is changing. The shakes are annoying.
