I've tried them all! With reservations, I purchased Herplex and was humbled! It was the first medication to actually prevent cold sores from oozing open. Puzzled as to why I could no longer find it at Wal-Mart, I found this site and discovered it is no longer available. What a disappointment. I wish I had a dollar for every time I suggested Herplex to someone.

It works well for me. My only compliant is that it tastes horrible. It's hard to swallow with water. It usually gets stuck to my tongue when I go to swallow.

Darvocet N 100 was prescribed to me when I broke my foot this summer. I took it as directed but it is a controlled medication and made me very sleepy and I would just fall asleep whenever I took it (so it was good to take at night) But honestly what helped the most with my pain was the Ibuprofen 800 which is an antiinflammatory. My 14 year old daughter has taken 2 of the 3 recommended dosages of the Gardasil shots. Her symptoms began just days after her first shot, but I attributed it to an extremely painful mentrual cycle.
