I do weekly immunoglobulin subQ infusions. I used Chloraprep once a week, prior to insterting the 5 needles that are necessary for 1 treatment of immunoglobulin, . For the past 18 weeks, I've been using Chloroprep and have suffered with huge (4-5 inches) and burning welts at each infusion site. My daughter was given Yaz because she had horrible cramps and fatigue during her periods. Within 3 weeks she had pain in the back of her thigh - mostly while walking up stairs. I have diabetes, treated with oral and insulin. Also treated for high trigycerides, high cholesterol, and bp. Carving for sugar has increased, gained 10# and all readings have jumped up remarkably since starting this medication. At first it helped the pain in my hands and generalized/overall aching pain. I did go to the emergency room for this 2 days ago. But I did not know it was for this med. I googled it last night and figured it out. I stopped immediatly. But this is only my second day being off it. I feel I can't be alone w my two month old and 2 year old. I was only on it for 5 days. Please tell me how long it takes to get back to a normal state of mind please?
