I was diagnosed with juvenile osteoporosis at a very young age. I broke a number of bones in my chest, back, feet, and arms. I wore a back brace for many years because I kept breaking bones in my back and my chest. I have been taking calcium ever since and my calcium levels have stabilized. I’m doing much better and I don’t break bones as much as I used to as a kid.

I love that they now have a generic drug for Keppra. Side affects kind of disappointing but would prefer the hair & calcium loss to seizures!!

I just had a back surgery last week to remove hardware that I had put in 3 years ago when I had a fusion done of my lower back and this is they gave me oxycodone for the pain. I irritated a nerve while healing and it felt like I had electric shock pulses in my back constantly. The oxycodone didnt begin to even touch the pain I was having so they prescribed me the norco 10mg to replace the oxycodone for the pain. Overall this drug was great. Even though I gave great skin now, my skin did improve. I thought my skin was really good to begin with but this just took things up to another level. I experienced a 12 pound weight loss and I was eating more then previous. I did have an increase in appetite but it didn't bother me because I was loosing so much weight. I was really against taking this drug to begin with. I've tried to keep a positive HOPE that this would help me. I have worse symptoms and can't differentiate what is symptomatic of the disease or the drug. The endocrine system is so complex and effects many other body systems. No symptoms, got rid of the infection pain immediately went away within a few minutes of the first dose.

Codeine

I had a very bad cough during my finals week and when I went to the doctor he gave me a cough medicine with codeine in it. It still took a while for the cough to go away, and I could only take the medicine at night, but it made it so I actually got rest and got rid of my cough
