I started taking Januvia a year ago because my blood sugar had began to go up while I was just taking Metformin and hadn't been doing anything different than usual. Since I started taking Januvia in addition to Metformin I have noticed that my blood sugar is much more stable.

I have prostate cancer, one side only. Currently I am using hormone therapy to control testosterone production and no aggressive therapies. My last PSA result was nearly zero! I only recently (today!) read of Zyflamend's off label use in treatment of prostate cancer. Anyone out there have or heard of any experiences with this. I, too, am taking a BP prescription.

I think Claritin-D 24-hour helped most of my symptoms but not all. It definitely alleviated my sinus symptoms, but it neither helped my dry, itchy eyes nor my sore, irritated throat. Throughout the years I have tried numerous allergy medications, and for OTC meds, Claritin- D 24-hour is the best that I have found. This medication does not alleviate any cold symptoms except congestion. The taste is awful and causes a complete loss in appetite. Only used a few times then switched to another, better cold medicine.

Your situation appears similar to mine. I had been taking Avapro (AKA Irbesartan) 150mg 2x daily which was doing the job. Then my drug insurer refused to cover it. Losartan was suggested as an alternative so I began that. I was on 50mg 2x daily which seemed to work; that was in 2012. I moved to a new state in 2012 and changed doctors.
