i was on yaz before and ortho-tricyclen lo before that. ortho mad em gain a bunch of weight and i had really bad depression and anxiety. I went on Yaz and did'nt have many side effects except a drop in sex drive. However after two years i started getting abnormal periods - where i would bleed for a month at a time and got anemic. Not sure if Seasonique is the cause but I never had health problems like this until my 4th month on it. I developed a severe case of perioral dermetitus. Doctor has had me on antibiotics now for 2 months for that. Also that 4th month I started spotting daily. I quit Seasonique at the last week of my 6th month on it. Now two months since I quit my face is clear but still sensitive to sun/heat, leads to breakouts and itchng. No irregular bleeding, no spotting since I switched back to my old pil... I have tried it for different kinds of condition which it was also listed on the bottle that it is said effective. However I don't really feel it is effective to all conditions. In fact, I think it is because it has such light effect, I don't see any side effects.
