My four-day experience with Pristiq was simply not worth hanging on for better effects down the road. I experienced extreme nausea and headaches. I have been suffering from a degenerative joint problem with my spine for about 4 years now. I take vicodin when feeling queezy sounds better than being in pain. Taking it for longer periods (ie... every day for a week) causes me to have itching spells. I prefer percocet but it is harder to get off that stuff. I was also put on an anti depressant because my doctor thought i was depressed because I broke down crying in his office when he asked me how i was feeling, whether i was having suicidal thoughts or not. As stated above, it does seem to help with my blood pressure, but I seem to be more irritated than I was before I originally started the medication. It is worth putting up with for the benefit of the medication though.
