I have been on Mirena since November of 2009 and I have never been so disappointed in my life. Since starting on this drug last year, my "attacks" have reduced tremendously and I'm able to work with confidence now. However, my biggest problem with Betahistine is that I have been experiencing severe muscle cramps recently which at times can be very painful. I have also lost some weight and I try to eat more to compensate! Is their any way one can ensure that he/she maintains her/his weight when on this drug? My sexual appetite has also gone down. Any comments?

Update. The worry over Lantus is over for me. I tried Levemir for a couple of months, before switching back to Lantus as it made no difference to the pain. Then I had a diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) a few weeks ago. This was after several visits to my doctor and a rheumatologist, blood tests and a radiological bone scan. I'm now on a lowish dose of prednisolone (10mg/day), with calcium (800mg/day) and alendronic acid (70mg once per week) to protect my bones from the steroid. Most... View full comment

I have suffered from depression for as long as I could remember. I didn't like to be near anyone or go and do anything. I felt it was the only thing I was in control of. With Prozac, I have learned to let loose a little bit, and being with other people no longer bothers me. Prozac is a Godsend.

Very effective against pain. Was taking 10/350 dosage and it was knocking me out at first. Downside is it's very addictive and it doesn't take long to get lulled into the addiction.

I love this kind of Vicks! It's perfect for clearing up my nose during allergy season. I can also see clearer and my sneezing and itchy throat are all gone. I've only had good experiences with Vick's.
