A lot of my symptoms could be related to me stopping smoking and not to NicoDerm CQ. My chest hurts but not a caving in feeling, rather a bruised feeling. As the day progresses I feel less anxious. I smoked 13 ciggerettes per day and still think that Step 1 is giving me too much nicotine.

DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar. Had a severe cough for months. Took Generic form of Zyrtec last night before bed and cough is finally gone. I have a bit of medicine head but, the benefits far out way the fogginess feeling.

I agree with anonymous July 18 2009. no joy or happiness in life. I didn't feel anything in fact. my doctor reduced the dosage and now I feel fine. I have more energy and am more motivated.
