These pills made me feel like I was crazy. I was moody and depressed and impatient. My mood could change from being happy to being sad or angry in an instant. My boyfriend broke up with me because I treated him so badly. After I changed pills we got back together and things are fine. I also got migraines right before I started my period and those stopped after I changed pills.

Lamotrigine

Lamotrigine has stopped me from getting auras due to complex partial epilepsy, however, when I was at a high dose I would get heart palpitations every day very severely. My doctor lowered my dosage and the palpitations stopped. Also, I skipped a dose one day and had an aura that day, so don't skip any doses.

Atenolol

I tried to stay the course for about 3 weeks but loss of energy, nausea and occasional vomiting had me asking my doctor to get me off of Atenolol. I work out at the gym several times a week and noticed, (I wear a heart monitor to gauge my fat-burning and cadio zones), that I could not get above about 85 on my pulse rate when 115-120 was the target easily achieved before Atenolol. Result: I perpetually felt sluggish, morose and knew this drug was NOT for me.

I take Claritin to get rid of my allergies. I find it to be very effective and it works fast.

Benzamycin

Benzamycin greatly aided in clearing up my acne, but in the long run, it made my skin very dry and irritated. I had to discontinue using it. With a moisturizer, my skin still suffered. Overall, it is effective but I would not recommend it for sensitive skin.

I do have a problem retrieving common words since using Lyrica however, the worse problem in weight gain. I am already well overweight and had lost 27 lbs. with GREAT effort; however I have gained back nearly 15lbs. already without much of an eating change (I don't think). I have notices a stronger appetite and have tried to keep watch but it seems to be gaining anyhow. I am diagnosed with diabetees which I have controlled by diet. I'm a 42 yrs., and suffer from endometriosis. Heavy periods, and extreme cramps and bloating for up to 8 days. I have refused to use BC for approximately 10 yrs. because of all the side effects. I'm very sensative to BC, weight gain, moodiness, anxiety. My pain and discomfort was no longer tolerable, I had to do something. I've been taking the pill since July 26th. I know it's only been a week, but so far so good. I finally feel a little more balanced, more energy, with a clearer mind.... View full comment
