I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. I was never prescribed this drug, but my boyfriend was. I took it occasionally while writing my thesis. I call them "focus pills", since the effect of one will allow me to focus on my studies for 8-10 hours without taking a break. The mind is really clear while experiencing the effect of this drug, but the feeling is addictive. I almost got hooked on them, which is particularly dangerous if you don't have a prescription.

Started taking Aleve for arthritis inflammation and after initial dosage of 3-4 tablets a day, now take one per day. On those days of extra work, outside in yard for instance, I take another in late afternoon or early evening for pain relief.
