Within about w two hours, I had all the diigestion-related symptoms of the flu (even though I do not and did not have the flu). Lolav, I find that for sleep the alternative therapies work better and with less side effects then the pharmaceutical approach. I suggest you check with a health food store to see what they recommend. Valerian is good and so is just plain old hot milk before bed. There are stronger Ayurvedic or Chinese herbs that you can Google- some are common and some you have to go to India for. The constipation and change of appetite was un tolerable. I was taking pain killers for another problem and had to then sit really in pain due to extreme constipation, belly, abdomen, anus pain. I have had a rough year, worsened by this. anybody taking Xyzal should really think about taking it. This medication was so bad for me I wish they would take it off the market. I reported it to the FDA with very very bad hallucinations, and now I am seeing a phychiarist who gave me zoloft because I was afraid to go to sleep. I even ran outside my home and into the street because I thought my house was on fire when it really wasan't . I even contacted the manufacturer telling them how bad this medication was.
