loved it initially, but now i am not so sold, going hoarse, having yeast issues and am still having to use my rescue inhaler almost daily. so i am not certain what benefit i am getting. planning on going off it but not certain on an alternative, singulair didn't work.

I have been taking lexapro on and off for about three years now, and I am a much better person on it. Without lexpro I am cranky, moody, depressed and very anxious. I can tell an immediate difference when I go off of it and know that this drug has benefits that out way any risks for me. I lead a whole new and better life because of it I am so thankful I was able to pinpoint the problem and be offered this solution.

Changing to this synthetic analogue, described to me as "the greatest thing for Type 1 diabetics" by my diabetic team was a decision I now deeply regret. The side effects were extremely debilitating - extreme fatigue, memory loss, joint & muscle pain, feeling as if I was in a foggy toxic state all the time despite good HBA1c results. took ambien initail by itself but it did not help me fall asleep. I started to take it with two other medicines that were ativan and trileptal. these only worked when I took all three together to fall asleep
