Within the 1st week I went from a happy optimistic girl, to a very unhappy, unstable individual. My experience: crying for no reason, complete misery, severe weight gain, anti-social, exhausted, nauseous, dry eyes, high anxiety, NO sex drive, painful sex, cramping, bloating, irrational behavior...

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. After Marax, was Theophylline and I was not introduced to inhalers until probably the late 80s or 90s. In the late 80s I went to an ENT, who recommended I take Sudafed for sinus drip. The same feelings of anxiety/and... View full comment

How did it go with the gyno? There was some evidence in the trials that women who already had HPV when they got the Gardasil shot had a very significantly higher risk of developing cervical cancer. Merck shuffled the trial data to make the numbers go away - I'm sure some of the 're-dos' were legitimate, but hmmm - and got the increased risk down to where the FDA would approve it although they expressed concern. Also, Gardasil is far from 100 percent effective. There are multiple strain... View full comment

I have been using Nuvaring for about 6 years now. I recently have started to have blurred vision, severe vertigo, fatigue, rashes and much more. I feel that my symptoms have worsened over the last 6 years but I have just now realized that this was the problem. If you feel any different on this medication, trust yourself and go tell your doctor because it is probably the medication. That was my mistake I thought there was something wrong with me come to find out it was severe side effects... View full comment

I have been tacking Simcor for almost 3 months. In the beginning I had flushing and itching that was severe enough to bother me at night. That side effect has almost gone by now. However, I use to have my resting pulse around 52-54 beats per minute, just recently I've noticed that my resting pulse was elevated to around 68 - 74 beats per minute. Honestly, I don't like this because Simcor somehow is forcing my heart to work harder and that's why I am having like anxiety attack feeling. Is it... View full comment
