This drug is very expensive (approx $3 a pill/1000mG), and the side effects are horrible. Although they tend to diminish after 6-12 months, the itching and hot flashes are a sure sign from your body that something is wrong. Concentrated fish oils and other remedies work better, and will not destroy your body.

I am getting off the drug-have serious side-effects with the prozac and wellbutrin xl--anxiety so bad I have to now take ativan for it to get through-odd thing is I have a good normal day and the next is filled with anxiety. so hard to understand what is going on with that-taking every other day-but if I take it 2 days in a row still get the every other day side-effects. Anyone else have that problem??? Thank You-Sandy

Yaz was great for the first three months, then all of a sudden i became a horrible person to everyone around me. I started to have mood swings and severe pain everywhere and the pill actually lowered my potassium level instead of making it higher as advertised. i am finally switching to something else after numerous blood tests trying to find out what was wrong with me. it happens to be that Yaz was making me fall apart. i hate it! I have been taking Lutera for 3 weeks now and I have never been so tired. No matter how long I sleep I yawn all day, I cant stay focused and I have no energy. I would not recommend this pill to anyone. It was not even prescribed by my doctor the pharmacy gave it to me as an alternative. I will be changing this as soon as possible.

In 3 years our son has only had Risperidone. We knew nothing about the illness and unfortunately this med has not helped greatly. He is on B3, B6, B9, Vit C, Vit E, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Omega 3 etc as per Hoffer's Orthomolecular programme and he is getting better slowly. I also give him Seagreens.
