I am in my final week of the 3 month treatment. I've decided to stretch the final week into 2 weeks - taking one dose a day, instead of two. I believe the withdrawl will be a little easier (hopefully). Chantix certainly did take away the urge to smoke, I haven't had a cigarette since October 24th. (I actually stopped the first week). FYI Ladies - I have been treated for massive blood clots throughout my body because of Seasonique. The doc told me after 3 months I could go back to the gym - well went twice and developed lesions. I go to my son's FB game and within 30 min have 2nd degree burns. I am now on 2 inhalers because my pulmonary embolisms in the heat and humidity of summer make it virtually impossible to catch my breath. Seasonique isn't worth the risk. While I await my latest PSA results, I need to find out why my back, particularly along the spine, hurts so much, with almost nothing that helps. The pain radiates arbitrarily across my lower back, then up to under one shoulder blade or the other, and sometimes both. This pain radiates around the rib cage creating a "pulling" feeling into the chest, often causing related discomfort in the stomach area (not nausea). Before I discovered Zyrtec my allergies were not controlled. Since Zyrtec has been in my life I know that I can control my allergies and that even if taken after my allergies are 'full blown' it only take a short time before they are under control. Having tried EVER other allergy medication I would be lost without Zyrtec.
