My daughter was on this pill to help regulate her periods. For 3 months her stomach has been an absolute mess! She can barely eat without feeling sick and nauseated. This is the first drug I have taken that has made me feel better in YEARS. I have had depression/anxiety issues and Anorexia Nervosa for far too many years and this is the first time a drug has lifted my depression, lessened my anxiety and did not effect my weight all at once. I was prescribed this drug for Fibromyalgia pain. Yes, you feel less pain because you're High as a Kite! At first my husband thought it was funny that I spent my time giggling and walking into things. Obviously not good. This was on a very low dose of 50 mg / 2 x daily. I am very sensitive to this drug and it caused too many problems including memory, confusion, feeling dizzy and/or "high" plus my husband said there was a change in my personality - obviously not a good one....
