Has anyone tried going off this nasty drug? I am on day two of weaning down from 300 mgs to 200 mgs daily of Lyrica. Next week I am supposed to go down to just 100 mgs....and the following week should be down to none. My problem is this: I am feeling anxious, easily irritated, have irrational thoughts, and have been driving my poor husband nuts with fits of tears every other hour. This is a great medicine to help with nerve pain. I was on Lyrica for three months but had to switch off because it wasnt reducing my pain and I was experiencing several side effects. The only side effects I experienced from Keppra was being a little tired. It helped relieve my sciatic nerve pain that I was having.
